About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage various GST refund applications and interact directly with the tax department
- Handle PAN India cross-charging of expenses, including ISD distribution
- File various Goods & Services Tax (GST) returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, and ITC-04
- Verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility under GST law
- Perform reconciliations between ITC books and GSTR-2B
- Draft professional written replies and letters to respond to departmental notices and inquiries
- Compile and reconcile data for GST audit requirements and support external consultants
Requirements
- Educational background in M.Com, LLB, or LLM
- Proven experience with GST refund applications and return filing
- Proficiency in SAP is mandatory
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent spoken and written English skills, specifically for legal and tax drafting
