About the role
Responsibilities
- Support revenue recognition processes for aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul services
- Engage with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to track engine progress and validate estimates
- Prepare engine case studies comparing invoiced performance to budgets and tenders
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring financial issues and track contractual KPIs
- Collaborate with business teams to reflect operational and financial changes in tendering
- Maintain BPU and RCMS documentation to ensure compliance with internal control requirements
- Monitor updates in financial regulations and accounting standards for compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in commercial or financial estimation of engines and projects
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong accounting, financial management, and reconciliation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA
- Additional certifications in financial reporting or internal controls
