Senior Offensive Security Engineer - Embedded Systems

Responsibilities

• Assess security posture of Silvus-built software, hardware and firmware as well as third-party components
• Provide expertise to other teams on real-world attack vectors and implement mitigations
• Plan, build, and maintain capabilities needed to execute red team projects

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 1 year in an offensive security role
• Experience assessing web applications, hardware, and embedded systems
• Experience with cloud and containerized environments (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
• Experience assessing mobile device security (Android/iOS)
• Proficiency in Rust, C/C++, Golang, or Swift
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government SECRET clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience building custom offensive security tooling
• Experience weaponizing vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with security architectures for robotics, aerospace, or physical systems
• Knowledge of anti-tamper and reverse engineering mechanisms
