Senior Offensive Duty Officer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely and effective use of Air Tasking Order (ATO) assigned assets
• Monitor assets and assess how deviations affect the ATO, making necessary adjustments and coordinating with affected agencies
• Act as the Operational Expertise Act expert and doctrinal process authority for positions including CASDO, INTDO, BDO, CSAR, TST, and EW/SEAD
• Provide expertise on capability degradation, tactics, and threat areas
• Function as the Exercise Execution Replicate on AOC positions during exercises
• Perform duties of the Chief of Combat Ops (CCO), coordinating with the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG)
• Serve as an AOC representative at planning conferences and as a Liaison Officer (LNO) at forward locations

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Minimum 3 years progressive AOC experience (e.g., FDO, SEAD DO, TCT Chief, Interdiction DO, CAS DO) culminating as SODO or CCO
• Minimum 2 years as Offensive Operations Team Mentor, White Cell member, or AOC Combat Ops Instructor
• Background in bomber, fighter, or air battle management (Pilot, Navigator, or Air Battle Manager experience required)
• Deep familiarity with AFTTP 3-3 doctrinal processes
• Subject Matter Expert in the Falconer Weapon System and AOC operations floor tools
• Ability to travel up to 25% for conferences and exercise locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's Degree
