Senior Non-Metallic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering surveillance and technical support for materials-related works across all business lines
• Develop and implement new technology and innovative solutions to solve non-routine problems
• Provide materials specialist support for large capital projects and regional projects to ensure technical quality
• Participate in global and site-wide programs to improve unit reliability and optimize maintenance
• Provide on-site field support during scheduled maintenance activities
• Represent the company in industry and external engagement activities such as MTI, API, and AMPP
• Mentor early career materials integrity engineers to support their professional development

Requirements

• Demonstrated work experience and knowledge of non-metallics industry codes, standards, and practices
• Field experience with coatings and linings for upstream, refining, and petrochemical applications
• Experience with composite materials for Oil & Gas (e.g., GRE, RTP, Flexible pipes), including design, inspection, and maintenance
• Proven experience leading new non-metallic technology development and deployment
• History of working with technology vendors and application contractors in support of field activities or capital projects
• Broad knowledge and work experience in corrosion protection
• Flexibility to travel internationally to work sites and shop fabrication locations as required
