Senior Network Voice Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain Voice infrastructure including SBC and Broadworks systems across data centers
• Perform daily system monitoring and verify integrity and availability of network resources
• Review logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs
• Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Manage hardware EOL/EOS and prepare mitigation plans
• Resolve ServiceNow tickets by taking ownership and providing proper detail
• Interact with inter and intra departmental peer groups to achieve task results
• Work with vendors to stay updated on new VoIP components and features

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in creating Broadworks and SBC configurations
• Experience with ACME/Oracle SBC and BroadSoft Broadworks
• Solid knowledge of VoIP protocols including SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, and Codecs
• Experience with building, maintaining, and troubleshooting MS SQL and Oracle databases
• Knowledge of Windows, ESX, and Linux server administration
• Proficiency with networking protocols: TCP/IP, SFTP, DHCP, LAN, WAN, MPLS
• Experience with VoIP security platforms, Robocalls mitigation, and STIR/SHAKEN
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS CSC, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
• Experience with tools like Elastic Search or Thousand Eyes

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. degree or related field
• Experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Knowledge of VMware technologies
