Senior Network Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior escalation point for complex network incidents and lead advanced troubleshooting
• Manage high-severity incidents across routing, switching, WAN/LAN, and firewall environments
• Ensure network solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards
• Translate business requirements into scalable network solutions and technical requirements
• Provide technical input for Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Drive operational excellence through automation, DevOps, and improved monitoring
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and standardize infrastructure

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in network administration
• Mastery of IP network basics (LAN/WAN, Layer 2, Layer 3, VPN, SDN, DHCP, DNS)
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex network problems
• Knowledge of network flow security and LAN/WAN security
• Scripting skills for network automation
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools
• Significant experience with Cisco and Fortinet solutions
• Fluency in English and French (oral and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large network infrastructures
• ITIL certification
