Senior Network Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements
• Configure and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Monitor and optimize network performance
• Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades and patch management
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure
• Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network administration or a related role
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with network security technologies
