Senior Network Engineer/Architect (SME)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and direction for transport network design, routing protocols, and advanced virtual networking technologies.
• Establish overall strategic network standards and priorities for national security missions.
• Plan large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studies.
• Analyze and optimize network system performance and oversee strategic configuration interfaces.
• Design and define system architecture for new and existing systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud integration with multiple public cloud service providers.
• Identify COMSEC security requirements for networks and platforms.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer or Architect.
• Master's Degree in a related field is required.
• Active US Top Secret SCI security clearance with SAP experience.
• Expertise in networking protocols including TCP/IP, VPN, and BGP.
• Familiarity with DoD, IC, and inter-agency collaboration.
• Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise-level network monitoring and management tools.
