Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks
• Configure routers, switches, and firewalls
• Implement security measures including firewalls, NAC, and encryption
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting
• Monitor performance using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
• Optimize performance with QoS configurations and capacity planning
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee network projects
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in network administration and design
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLAN, QoS, IPsec, and VPN
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and SNMP configurations
• Strong vendor management and project coordination skills

• CCNP certification
• CCNP Data Center Core
• Fortinet NSE
• Palo Alto PCNSE
