Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot global network infrastructure at Corporate and manufacturing locations
• Support complex Manufacturing/Office LAN, WAN, Firewall, SDWAN and wireless infrastructure
• Implement hardware and software changes to improve network performance and connectivity
• Troubleshoot network issues related to BGP, SD-WAN, VLAN, Spanning Tree, Security, and wireless
• Align with Global Network architecture team to incorporate company standards into regional site builds
• Act as a network engineering Subject Matter Expert to respond to incidents according to SLAs
• Partner with Security or Cyber Defense teams to remediate detected vulnerabilities
• Create and maintain complex network documentation and manage IT projects

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in deploying and operating large global enterprise networking infrastructure
• Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 protocols (Spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
• Extensive experience in multi-vendor environments including Arista and Cisco
• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years professional experience in Network Routing, Switching, Firewall, and Campus Wireless
• Hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN, VLAN, Spanning Tree, EtherChannel, QoS, and DNS
• Extensive experience with NextGen firewall services including IPSEC VPN and IPS/IDF
• Proficiency in version control and network automation using Git and Ansible
• Experience with tools such as SNMP, NetFlow, IPAM, RADIUS, and Splunk

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Wireless and Infoblox - DDI
• Understanding of network design for small offices to large campuses
• Knowledge of data center networking technologies
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Technical certifications such as CCNP or CCIE
