Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead escalation point for complex deployment issues during Cisco-to-Fortinet/Juniper migrations
• Troubleshoot advanced problems involving Fortinet firewalls, Juniper switches, and legacy Cisco devices
• Own the full lifecycle of network-related change controls within ServiceNow
• Lead configuration, deployment, and optimization of Fortinet firewalls and Juniper switches/wireless solutions
• Oversee migration activities including device staging, configuration validation, and cutover support
• Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, migration procedures, and configuration standards

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
• Strong expertise with Juniper switches and Juniper wireless solutions
• Solid understanding of Cisco networking for migration support
• Proven experience managing change controls in ServiceNow
• Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, wireless, and security domains

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as Fortinet NSE or Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP
• Experience with large-scale network refresh or transformation programs
• Familiarity with automation tools like Python or Ansible
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, Zero Trust, or cloud-integrated network architectures
