Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, expand, and design network solutions across data center and enterprise/campus environments.
• Enhance network security through segmentation, policy-based routing (PBR), access control, SIEM, and IPS.
• Manage and optimize Fortinet firewalls, Cisco ASR routers, ACI-switching fabric, and related data center technologies.
• Drive Automation/DevOps and Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with specialists across server, storage, and security domains to shape the technical direction of the network platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a professional networking role.
• Solid understanding of scripting, automation, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security technologies (preferably Fortinet and/or Cisco).
• Strong practical experience with enterprise routing/switching and LAN/WAN environments.
• Full professional proficiency in both Danish and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance from the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET).
