Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead network routing and switching design, architecture, and equipment lifecycle
• Design and implement network improvements for performance, capacity, and scalability
• Install and configure networking hardware, LAN switches, wifi, and firewalls
• Provide technical support and resolve reported network problems
• Develop and maintain network architecture drawings and documentation
• Perform network vulnerability assessments and lead RCA analysis
• Participate in a 24/7 network operational support team

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience
• 5+ years of experience in Network Design and Operations
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Linux/Windows OS administration
• Knowledge of networking protocols and security principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as PNSE, CEH, Security+, CCNA, or CCNP
• Experience with Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Meraki, and Cisco products
• Experience with cloud security and cloud architecture
