Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement, optimize, and support enterprise-level IT infrastructure and multi-tier network solutions within a global environment.
• Act as a cross-functional thought leader to bridge the gap between IT and broader business objectives.
• Evaluate complex existing network systems and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Drive the adoption of IT best practices, standards, and technical documentation.
• Oversee small-to-medium project budgets, ensuring accountability for expenses and resource allocation.
• Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor to develop global IT talent.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional IT experience.
• 3 years of experience participating in project teams.
• Proven experience working on global projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Ethernet, routing, TCP/IP, and wide area networking.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki switches and routers.
• Experience with Fortinet/FortiGate security products and SDWAN/VPN.
• Experience with wireless authentication (802.1x) and Cisco ISE.
• Ability to travel 5%-10% and flex work schedules for maintenance windows or on-call responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related academic discipline.
• Cisco CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification.
• Fortinet certification.
• Experience with Infoblox (DNS), FortiADC (load balancing), and Wireshark.
