Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise-grade wired, wireless, and WAN networks across corporate offices, retail stores, and distribution centers
• Install, configure, and support network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers
• Lead network security initiatives such as firewall policies, segmentation, VPN, and zero-trust frameworks
• Monitor and optimize network performance through capacity planning and root-cause troubleshooting
• Design and maintain high-availability and failover solutions to ensure business continuity
• Manage change control for upgrades and patching in alignment with ITIL processes
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams and SOPs
• Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Health Safety, or Industrial Hygiene preferred)
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in a distribution, warehouse, or eCommerce environment
• Extensive working knowledge of Cal/OSHA and Federal OSHA regulations
• Proven experience leading safety teams in large workforce environments
• Strong understanding of risk mitigation strategies and workers’ compensation
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Professional safety certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHST
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• OSHA certifications
