Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and assistance to the Network Engineering team on business-critical production, corporate, and development networks
• Perform network administration and maintain network and security devices and systems
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot, resolve issues, or roll out changes to hosted production environments
• Plan and implement network changes to support business decisions
• Contribute to technical aspects of project delivery, planning, and risk management

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a hosted services environment including infrastructure networks, hardware, and telecommunications
• Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong experience installing, configuring, and maintaining network services and equipment
• Proven experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Arista switching
• Experience with routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
• Strong understanding of subnetting, VLANs, VLAN tagging, and NAT
• Experience configuring IPSec VPNs and GRE tunnelling
• Knowledge of configuring and maintaining Fortinet, Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, and Cisco ASA firewalls
• Datacenter experience including racking and patching devices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mellanox Infiband switches
• Multicast experience
• Experience with RoCE
