Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize network monitoring and alerting systems for global observability
• Deploy and support on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid network solutions
• Develop automation scripts, workflows, and tools using Ansible to streamline incident detection and resolution
• Collaborate with global network architects to design maintenance, expansion, and modernization initiatives
• Define and document best practices to enhance network reliability, performance, and security
• Engage in vendor and circuit provider coordination, including cost and contract analysis
• Participate in a shared global on-call rotation for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise, cloud, and/or datacenter networking
• Hands-on Ansible development experience, including writing and maintaining playbooks and roles
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and SDWAN products
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and Git version control
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network and application layers
• Excellent professional English communication skills for collaborating with international teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Arista switches and routers
• Professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP, specifically focusing on Azure
• Experience working in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or distributed engineering environment
