Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and tune Layer 2/3 networks across data-center, lab, and office environments using Cisco/Meraki, Dell, and Palo Alto technologies.
• Maintain high-capacity links (10 GbE – 100 GbE) and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF to meet strict latency and uptime targets.
• Automate repetitive tasks and build CI/CD pipelines using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Act as a first responder for P1/P2 incidents, performing tri-level troubleshooting across physical, logical, and cloud edge layers.
• Partner with InfoSec to harden configurations, manage certificates/keys, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, runbooks, and change records to support Ops and SRE teams.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in enterprise or data-center networking.
• Deep expertise in Layer 2/3 protocols including Ethernet, VLAN, STP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki, Dell, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP (VPC, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, TGW).
• Strong communication skills and experience creating technical documentation and runbooks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or PCNSE.
