Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and maintain enterprise routing and switching environments utilizing EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast protocols
• Implement and manage VPN and firewall solutions to ensure secure communications
• Integrate and maintain VoIP and CENTRIX systems in compliance with mission requirements
• Configure and support core network infrastructure components to ensure reliability and redundancy
• Conduct network performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Ensure all configurations meet DISA STIG and DoD cybersecurity compliance standards
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation and topology diagrams
• Coordinate with government stakeholders for infrastructure upgrades

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active US Government Secret clearance
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
• Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
• Active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in core network infrastructure
• Extensive knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast
• Experience with VoIP, VPN, and firewall configuration
• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting systems engineering in USARPAC and USARC environments
• Knowledge of JTIC-approved network equipment
• Experience in firewall and VPN design and implementation
• Experience with CENTRIX systems and cross-domain network environments
