Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects to design scalable, high-bandwidth network architectures optimized for AI/ML workloads
• Ensure designs incorporate Spine-Leaf and Clos topologies for low-latency performance
• Oversee the physical build and logical configuration of network infrastructure in Tydal
• Act as the primary local technical liaison for network build-out and vendor coordination
• Take full ownership of network operations, monitoring, and incident response once energized
• Define and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering
• 3+ years focused on large-scale datacenter networks
• Proven experience with high-speed Ethernet fabrics (100G/400G) and Spine-Leaf/Clos architectures
• Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, and IP Fabric technologies
• Strong understanding of AI/ML compute requirements including RDMA and high-throughput needs
• Proficiency in network automation using Python or other scripting languages
• English fluency required for technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or Arista ACE
• Fluency in a Nordic language (Norwegian or Swedish)
• Experience working in Nordic datacenter environments
