Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the Air Force in the operation and maintenance of MQ-9 communications systems and global network architectures
• Implement, maintain, and support complex network infrastructure including ACN and SPDN
• Act as the final point of escalation for the Centralized Network Operations Center (C-NOC)
• Perform root cause analysis, network planning, and ensure high network availability
• Provide engineering support for escalated troubleshooting involving BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and IPsec
• Manage authentication administration via Cisco ISE and monitor networks using SolarWinds
• Plan and execute device software upgrades and monitor High Assurance IP Encryptor (HAIPE) devices
• Support the development and testing of network configurations and routine preventive maintenance

Requirements

• 5-10 years of network administration experience with at least 5 years in network engineering
• Active Security+ and CCNP (or equivalent) certification
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain or maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance
• Proficiency with layer 2 switching, multicast routing, DMVPN tunnels, and IPsec
• Ability to lift and install equipment weighing approximately 30 lbs.
