Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, rack, cable, and power physical servers, storage systems, and supporting hardware
• Perform hardware diagnostics, break/fix tasks, component replacement, and lifecycle upgrades
• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco technologies
• Architect and implement AWS networking solutions including VPCs, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect
• Maintain accurate inventory of physical compute assets, spares, and components
• Develop and maintain SOPs for installation, decommissioning, and emergency recovery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 7+ years in datacenter operations, physical compute engineering, or server hardware roles
• Expert-level experience with Cisco networking technologies
• Proven experience with AWS networking and cloud-native architectures
• Hands-on experience with racking/stacking servers and hardware diagnostics
• Knowledge of enterprise server platforms such as Cisco, Dell, HPE, or Supermicro
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs and work in datacenter environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Proxmox, or KVM
• Experience with bare-metal orchestration tools such as MAAS or Tinkerbell
• Knowledge of datacenter telemetry and hardware monitoring systems
