Senior Network Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure across all locations, including LAN, WAN, and structured cabling.
• Maintain and configure routers, switches, and enterprise firewall systems (e.g., Check Point, Palo Alto).
• Oversee wireless networking, including Wireless LAN Controllers, access points, and RF optimization.
• Design and implement SD-WAN solutions to improve wide-area network efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Monitor network performance and security using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG to identify bottlenecks and threats.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain updated network documentation, including diagrams, IP schemes, and configuration records.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics/Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of professional experience in network administration or network engineering.
• Proven experience managing routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure in multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of network design, deployment, and day-to-day operations.
• Experience with network monitoring platforms and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
• Exposure to cloud networking platforms (Azure or AWS) and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Understanding of software-defined networking (SDN), network automation, and scripting (Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.
