Senior Network Administrator

Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and operation of network infrastructure across stadium, training facility, and corporate environments
• Architect high-density network environments supporting tens of thousands of concurrent users
• Lead network operations for mission-critical, real-time environments including game days and live events
• Design and maintain highly available architectures including multi-ISP connectivity and BGP routing
• Implement network observability practices including telemetry and flow analysis
• Develop network automation and infrastructure-as-code using Python, Ansible, and APIs
• Integrate hybrid network environments with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
• Partner with Cybersecurity teams to implement segmentation and Zero Trust principles
• Manage relationships with ISPs, carriers, and network vendors

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or administration in complex enterprise environments
• Proven experience supporting large-scale, high-density networks (25k+ concurrent users)
• Expertise in switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, and VPN technologies
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code (Python, Ansible, APIs)
• Strong understanding of network security, segmentation, and NAC
• Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS)
• Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and non-standard working hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE
• Experience with high-density WiFi design and RF optimization
• Experience supporting live events, sports environments, or broadcast operations
• Familiarity with IoT infrastructure, IPTV, or private wireless (CBRS/5G)
