Senior .NET Engineer (WinUI/WPF)

Responsibilities

• Develop well-designed, scalable, and reusable Windows desktop software from the ground up
• Design, document, and demonstrate desktop software architecture in collaboration with the client’s Solution Architect
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions under Scrum
• Serve as a technical anchor and mentor intermediate/middle developers
• Develop automated unit tests and ensure code meets high quality standards
• Estimate complex projects and conduct R&D for new technical solutions
• Implement performance, load, and stress testing procedures
• Provide continuous integration practices and support release deployment
• Setup integration with external software

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years focused on the .NET stack
• Excellent knowledge of C# and .NET Core
• Good knowledge of WinUI/WPF, XAML, and MVVM
• Excellent knowledge of clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and layered architectures
• Profound knowledge of MS SQL
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with AI agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with .NET MAUI
• Knowledge of German (written or spoken)
