About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, recommend, execute, and evaluate digital media plans from inception to completion
- Oversee Negotiators and Associates regarding daily maintenance and process consistency
- Attend regular client and vendor meetings to maintain rapport
- Mentor and assist in the training of Associates and Negotiators
- Work with Strategy and Comms Design teams to align media choices with overall strategy
- Develop RFPs and oversee the submission process with media partners
- Evaluate partner proposals and negotiate plan details
- Oversee campaign implementation, optimization, and performance including authorizations, IOs, and billing
- Manage partner-specific budget allocation and media partnership programs
- Secure best-in-class marketplace pricing and foster strong media partner relationships
Requirements
- Digital media buying experience
- Knowledge of inventory management systems like MediaOcean or Prisma
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and evolving responsibilities
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills
- Experience analyzing data and market research
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years working within the digital media space
- Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology such as Atlas DMT or Media Mind
- Knowledge of internet marketing research tools like comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, or NetRatings
- Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles and statistical analysis
