About the role

Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute advanced territory and account plans to exceed multi-million dollar sales targets and annual quotas.
  • Lead comprehensive sales cycles for enterprise-level clients and strategically acquire new logos in the Houston area.
  • Manage proactive pipeline and forecasting, providing clear insights and strategic guidance to sales leadership.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer IT architectures to align Cloudflare Reference Architectures with client environments.
  • Orchestrate complex customer engagements by leading virtual cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Deal Desk, and Legal.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and technical leaders, articulating strategic value propositions linked to business outcomes.
  • Navigate complex contract negotiations to drive win-win scenarios and close large-scale platform sales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of advanced B2B enterprise sales experience selling complex technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas.
  • Deep expertise and fluency in Cloud Networking, Security, and Edge Computing technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence virtual cross-functional teams to drive deals to closure.
  • Advanced negotiation and closing skills for large, complex, six-figure and multi-million dollar deals.
  • Exceptional strategic communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Proficiency in advanced sales and business intelligence platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, and the MEDDPICC framework.
  • Experience driving digital transformation initiatives within enterprise organizations.
