Senior MySQL Database Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex MySQL database systems
• Create and manage advanced database architectures including partitioning, replication, and clustering
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, index management, and caching
• Ensure data integrity and security via access controls and encryption
• Collaborate with application developers and system architects on scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Mentor and guide junior database developers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a MySQL Database Developer
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL architecture and performance optimization
• Strong proficiency in SQL programming and query optimization
• Experience in database administration and disaster recovery planning
• Expertise in designing scalable database architectures
• Knowledge of database security best practices
• Experience with replication, clustering, and partitioning
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
