Senior Murex MLC Consultant

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and prepare detailed solution design documents
• Lead Murex MLC configuration, development, and enhancements
• Implement and amend risk formulae based on business requirements
• Create and enhance LTS LRB tasks and maintain MLC reports
• Perform scripting for End of Day (EOD) jobs
• Manage trade life cycle and workflow enhancements
• Execute SIT and regression testing, and support UAT phases
• Provide support for release activities and post-deployment tasks

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in requirement analysis and technical solution translation
• Strong, mandatory technical experience with Murex MLC
• Proven expertise in MLC LRB and datamart report configuration
• Extensive experience in static setup and risk configuration within the MLC module
• Banking background specifically in Risk Management or Treasury
• Strong understanding of Credit Risk concepts and Treasury products (Derivatives, Fixed Income, Money Market)
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle DB
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting (Solaris preferred)
• Solid understanding of Murex DataModel, Dynamic Tables, and Viewers

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the full Trade Life Cycle
• General knowledge of financial markets
• Basic knowledge of financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives
