Senior Multiline Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, quote, and convert new P&C package business within the upper SME and lower middle-market segments.
• Develop and execute a pipeline of opportunities through regular engagement with producers and BDMs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with broker partners across the UK through effective trading and negotiation.
• Collaborate with sales, distribution, risk engineering, and other lines of business to deliver the Chubb proposition.
• Maintain underwriting integrity by adhering to technical guidelines, best practices, and compliance standards.
• Provide high-quality underwriting service and rapid response times to brokers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a property and casualty underwriting environment.
• A successful track record of new business development within the upper SME or lower middle-market segment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A-Levels or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACII qualification or progress towards it.
• A university degree.
