Senior Multifamily Portfolio Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial health of a portfolio of multifamily properties through comprehensive accounting procedures
• Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including AP, month-end closing, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for multiple properties
• Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights
• Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledger entries
• Assist in the annual audit process and provide supporting documentation to external auditors
• Execute special projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in multifamily real estate accounting
• Proficiency in Yardi is required
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
