Senior MRB/Liaison Engineer

Responsibilities

• Autonomously assess complex design deviations or non-conformances for metallic, composite, and hybrid structures.
• Ensure all solutions align manufacturing processes with the aircraft definition while following Airbus methods and procedures.
• Liaise with Stress, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to integrate stress requirements into optimum solutions.
• Develop and maintain deep component and aircraft familiarity to provide prompt responses to production needs.
• Work towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation (T200) for concessions across primary and secondary aircraft structures.
• Review design answers and drawing packs to confirm completeness for the T300 stage.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical) with an emphasis on structural design, analysis, and mechanics of materials.
• 9 years of professional experience in design and analysis specifically with airframe structures.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering technical principles and applied knowledge of technical documentation and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Working knowledge of Airbus Structures.
