Senior Motion Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Produce creative motion graphics and editing work from concept to completion
• Create 2D animations, explainer videos, GIFs, and social assets
• Develop storyboards and animatics for production stages
• Act as a brand guardian and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with Creative Directors on ideation, scoping, and timelines
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Perform compositing, illustration, and occasional photo retouching

Requirements

• Minimum Matric/Grade 12 certificate and a relevant degree or diploma
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong portfolio and showreel demonstrating ideation through execution
• Experience in 2D animation, grading, and sound design
• Ability to work on global brands or FMCG accounts
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cinema 4D
• Ability to draw
• Background in social media project workflows
