Senior Motion Designer/Editor

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, MoGRTs, and visual effects that align with brand standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with Regional Marketing Directors and the Head of Consumer Marketing to develop scalable creative solutions.
• Serve as a project lead for pilot projects and larger-scoped initiatives, guiding team projects and delegating tasks.
• Provide guidance and support to other designers to help develop their skills and enhance team output.
• Act as an alternate contact for station, marketing, and corporate projects.
• Perform effectively under tight deadlines while multitasking across various client demands.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in design, art, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Motion Graphic Designer, specifically within a local news station environment.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a heavy emphasis on After Effects and Premiere.
• Strong design and video editing skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, spelling, and grammar skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sales support within a broadcast environment.
• A keen interest in applying artificial intelligence to creative workflows.
