Senior Mortgage Closing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Generate, evaluate, and validate the accuracy of closing documentation prior to sending to settlement agents
• Review closing disclosure statements, hazard insurance policies, title binders, security instruments, and tax records for accuracy and compliance
• Manage a pipeline of ready-to-close loans to ensure delivery prior to all closing deadlines
• Source, compile, and review missing loan documentation or information from various parties involved in the loan process
• Participate in department rotation for funding to settlement agents
• Track and log recorded mortgages and final title policies on funded loans

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of mortgage loan closing experience
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with regular time spent both inside and outside of a company office

Preferred Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of title insurance policies
• Experience working with Encompass loan origination systems
• Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills
