Senior Modem Testing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineering teams to design system-level software solutions.
• Perform protocol conformance testing and analyze performance requirements and interfaces.
• Conduct deep debugging and log analysis to ensure product quality and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience or related work experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of NR or LTE UE Testing and 3GPP protocols (specifically RRC/PHY layers).
• Sound understanding of OFDM symbol processing and reference signal processing (TDS/CSIRS/DMRS) at the protocol level.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience specifically in NR or LTE UE Testing and protocol conformance testing.
• Working experience with RF interfaces, RF front end, and layer 1 procedures.
• Experience with Qualcomm-specific tools.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation.
