Senior Mobile Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a top-tier fintech mobile app on iOS and Android that impacts the financial lives of millions of users.
• Own end-to-end feature development across the user lifecycle, including onboarding, cash advances, and account management.
• Integrate with financial service providers like Plaid and Stripe to build robust interfaces for sensitive data.
• Develop reusable components and design system elements to accelerate experimentation across multiple brands.
• Enhance mobile platform foundations, including build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile development experience with a track record of scaling production apps.
• Strong mobile architecture skills, including deep understanding of MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Proficiency in Swift/UIKit/SwiftUI and/or Kotlin/Java/Jetpack Compose.
• Experience shipping consumer-facing apps at scale, including handling crashes and edge cases.
• Skilled in working with REST APIs, async operations, and building resilient network layers.
• Strong testing mindset with experience in unit, integration, and UI testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Flutter/Dart (our codebase is Flutter-based).
• Background in fintech, specifically with payment systems, banking APIs, or identity verification.
• Technical leadership experience, including architecture design and mentoring other engineers.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic, high-velocity delivery.
