Senior MLOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and improve the ML platform, including Databricks workflows, MLflow, and Unity Catalog.
• Support data scientists in developing end-to-end training pipelines, covering data processing, feature transformations, and GPU-based training.
• Ensure reliable model inference by validating models before promotion and monitoring latency and metadata compatibility.
• Maintain ML observability through online and offline monitoring, data parity checks, and automated performance validation.
• Develop internal tools and APIs to enable efficient model experimentation and promotion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in MLOps, ML Platform Engineering, or Backend roles supporting production ML systems.
• Strong Python and software engineering skills, including experience with FastAPI or Flask.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or other modern deep learning frameworks and GPU optimization.
• Solid understanding of distributed computing and data processing using Apache Spark.
• Experience with Databricks (Jobs, MLflow, Delta, UC) or an equivalent cloud-based ML platform.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Strong English communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to high-load, low-latency ML inference environments.
• Knowledge of large-scale ML training frameworks and multi-GPU setups.
• Familiarity with Databricks Asset Bundles or the Rust programming language.
• Understanding of ONNX or other portable model serialization formats.
• Experience with data engineering concepts, CDC patterns, or S3-compatible storage like MinIO.
