Senior ML Research Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ship applied ML solutions end-to-end, owning problems from framing through production rollout and monitoring.
• Design evaluation frameworks, including gold datasets and metrics that reflect real-world performance.
• Blend ML and classical algorithms pragmatically, using modeling, ranking, classification, retrieval, and LLMs.
• Build for production constraints including latency, scale, observability, and safe rollout plans.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to drive adoption and change outcomes.
• Maintain high technical standards through reproducible experiments, documentation, and thoughtful reviews.

Requirements

• Proven track record of shipping ML models into production environments.
• Strong algorithmic thinking and familiarity with classical data structures.
• Excellent applied modeling fundamentals and evaluation skills.
• Engineering-minded approach with a focus on maintainable code and performance.
• Experience working in messy, weakly supervised domains with imperfect ground truth.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to align stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with search, ranking, or retrieval systems.
• Experience with graph-based approaches.
