Senior Mission/Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D team members on system development and deployments for strategic and tactical SIGINT solutions
• Generate briefings and present technical material to team members, customers, and management
• Participate in decision-making processes and contribute ideas to advance product capabilities
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems throughout all phases of the system lifecycle
• Support integration and testing efforts, which may include periodic weekend or night work
• Travel up to 25% as required for mission support

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on systems engineering experience, including design, development, and testing of complex hardware and software systems
• Active and transferable U.S. government Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required prior to start date
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems and/or Linux variants
• Experience with systems integration, test execution, and documentation of test results
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with development teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF, fiber optics, or telecommunications standards and processing techniques
• Proficiency in Linux scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience generating automated test scripts for integration
• Understanding of signal processing fundamentals and telecommunications system concepts
• Existing TS/SCI with polygraph obtained within the last 24 months
