About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects and budgeted accounts
- Report to the Engineering Manager on a Monday-Friday day shift
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil, or Mechanical)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Proficient understanding of engineering principles including soil/rock mechanics, steel design, hydraulics, ventilation, and conveyors
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Understanding of continuous and longwall mining methods
