Senior Mining Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and implement short-range and long-range mine planning operations for active mines and infrastructure projects
• Develop annual and life of mine budgets and perform cost tracking
• Design and develop work plans and cost estimates to support mining activities
• Manage and oversee special projects, including the direct supervision of employees
• Train and mentor Field Engineers new to the company and specific projects
• Perform estimates for new contract opportunities

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Mining, Civil, Geological, or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related natural science engineering field
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed based on project availability
• Ability to access all points of a project site in various climates and environments, including climbing on/off equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Mining, Mining Infrastructure, or Heavy Civil projects
