Senior Military Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform mission analyses to scope critical review requests
• Review and edit strategic documents to identify DOTMLPF gaps
• Provide quick-turnaround reviews of white papers and directives
• Deliver independent reviews of large-scale projects such as experiments and war games
• Present findings and recommendations via briefings and edited documents
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to provide alternative perspectives
• Conduct research and develop surveys to propose innovative solutions
• Create detailed written outputs including observations, insights, and reports
• Conduct independent fact-finding and informal assessments to inform decision-making
• Deliver organizational studies, restructuring efforts, and audit support

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• 12-15 years of professional experience
• Military experience
• Proven experience in critical reviews, red teaming, or strategic analysis
• Ability to identify and analyze DOTMLPF weaknesses and assumptions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in facilitating discussions and influencing decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD preferred
• War College graduate
• Experience working within the Department of Defense or TRADOC environment
• Familiarity with organizational design, experiments, and war-gaming methodologies
