Senior Metrology and Surveillance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead surveillance testing programmes, analysing product performance and driving improvements through data-led insights
• Develop and validate metrology methods across dimensional, mechanical, and functional measurements
• Take ownership of measurement system analysis (MSA) to ensure robust and compliant processes
• Design and optimise CMM programmes for complex, tight-tolerance components
• Create and implement test protocols and technical procedures in compliance with regulatory standards
• Conduct hands-on testing and inspection, producing clear, evidence-based reports
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• Significant experience in metrology, dimensional inspection, or measurement systems engineering
• Proficiency in CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 within regulated manufacturing environments
• Expertise in statistical analysis, MSA, and capability studies
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills

• Experience working with pumps, tubing, or fluid-handling systems
