Senior Merchant Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and design customized solutions leveraging PhonePe products and services
• Act as the technical link between development teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of fintech solutions
• Manage merchant accounts during the integration phase and take ownership of reported customer issues
• Define, document, and implement processes for integration to ensure compliance and standardization
• Develop and monitor key metrics to ensure the quality and sustainability of the developer experience
• Collaborate closely with product managers to improve API integrations and merchant experience
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend appropriate products, solutions, and frameworks

Requirements

• 5+ years of techno-functional experience with cross-functional collaboration
• Software development background in PHP, Java, or .Net
• Proficiency in REST APIs using JSON or SOAP
• Experience with Postman or SOAP UI tools
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience as a user-facing engineer
• Experience within the payments industry or modules
