Senior Merchant, NVS/Rebuys Sport + Accessories

Responsibilities

• Manage a large, profitable business across four geographies, focusing on Sport Apparel and Accessories
• Develop seasonal plans and assortments using marketplace data, consumer insights, and quantitative/qualitative metrics
• Lead the management of merchandising KPIs through robust analysis of retail insights and performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Planning, Global Sport Merchandising, and Geo Merchandising
• Provide strategic direction and insights to Product Creation teams to influence future product mixes
• Build and land assortments that differentiate key points of distribution and meet consumer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, product creation, or retail within a vertical or wholesale environment
• Proven experience creating line plans and assortments
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and profit-based metrics
• Excellent strategy-building skills and the ability to influence teammates around a shared goal
• Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions by balancing art and science
