Senior Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure the success of the merchandising strategy for specific customer segments or product types
• Serve as the primary liaison with existing and potential suppliers to foster strong relationships
• Manage supplier relations to align with production goals regarding price, fashion, speed, and sustainability
• Oversee timely deliveries, sample processes, pricing, and quality control
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement procedures and secure best production outcomes
• Provide insights into customer group strategy to guide regional capacity building

Requirements

• Product Development skills and experience in Womenswear in similar brands
• Strong analytical skills for anticipating global challenges and resolving issues
• Ability to work independently and guide teams informally
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize under stress
• Fashion knowledge and a genuine interest in trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic background in Textile Engineering
