Senior MEP Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems on-site
• Review and coordinate MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals
• Ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control of MEP installations
• Supervise and guide MEP teams, subcontractors, and site staff
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications and supplier proposals
• Prepare and submit reports, progress updates, and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 8–10 years of experience in MEP engineering
• Minimum 3 years in a senior role in the UAE or GCC
• Strong knowledge of MEP codes and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Plant 3D
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection
• Strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical fields
• Knowledge of MEP and HVAC system components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
