About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the mechanical and electrical construction needs of mission-critical facilities and related projects
- Assist with procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment, including vendor coordination and contract deliverables
- Coordinate equipment submittals and manage deliverables from contract award through manufacturing and delivery
- Communicate regularly with MEP equipment vendors, design engineers, and onsite project teams
- Track equipment deliveries from manufacturing facilities to project sites and support associated cost tracking
- Review and interpret electrical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and civil drawings and specifications
- Coordinate scopes, schedules, RFIs, and change orders in collaboration with project teams
- Ensure proper coordination of schedules, logistics, and delivery requirements to support project milestones
- Track performance using KPIs and support data-driven analysis to improve supply chain efficiency
- Travel to vendor or integrator facilities as needed for scope alignment, inspections, testing, or commissioning activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience supporting large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of MEP systems and equipment
- Proven experience coordinating scopes, schedules, RFIs, change orders, and tracking project budgets and costs
- Ability to read and understand electrical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and civil plans and specifications
- Strong communication skills and detail-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel as required for vendor coordination and offsite activities
